On my boyfriend's last birthday I sent him on a scavenger hunt where the final destination was to me at a hotel. I made sure that the clues I left him were to stores/places that would kind of help out, and also they were places that we went all the time. Every destination that he went to had an item that I had bought at the store, and the clue to the next destination. (I left this in a bag at the customer svc. counter) Once he had gathered all of the items, the last clue was an easy riddle that he had to solve so that he could meet me.
He had a great time on the hunt, and he thought it was REALLY creative.
