I am a technician with 25 yrs experience. Although the bulk of it has been with gm vehicles, I still do a lot of import work. The problem I have is that i am replacing outer cv boots on a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder. I have the axle separated from the steering knuckle and cut the old boot away. The problem is that i dont know how to release the outer joint from the axle. I dont see any snap ring in the joint. Could someone knowlegeable about the product tell me how the joint separates.

Its as user-friendly as commencing up both bolts that connect it to the engine. the first project which could be performed, disconnect the battery. you do not want to short some thing out. Then because careful even as eliminating the wires that connect with the solenoid because they are small, and when you consider that that's a fifteen 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous motor vehicle those wires possibly a touch extra brittle than maximum. Im not constructive yet i imagine yours is in course of the firewall sitting behind the engine and in the front of the transmission. in the journey that your not constructive what interestingly like, and its a competent theory in any case, bypass to a aspects keep to not really get the cost to boot as making constructive its there, yet you get eyes on the prize. Plus, it does ensue, aspects have a tendency to get switched out of older motor vehicle and those aspects switched out are literally not the very same. suggestion for that: once you have not any selection yet to purchase it, do not hook up the electric powered because it isn't taken back. They attempt this because there would were a short that shorted out the all started or the solenoid.
