well if she's had her since birth, and she is the one raising her she has all rights to fight for her i think she should take it to court for custody something she should of done in the first year or so. I hope she has proof of having her in her home for the past 2 yrs. it sounds like the birth mother is not a good mother.good luck to her...

I lived through a similar situation, it isn't an easy thing to do, but your friend should just accept the reality that she cannot change what the parents are doing. She is probally like me , and loves the baby, but she can't be with her any more. I would suggest that your friend ask if she can visit or keep in touch, but if they say no, there isn't much she can do. It's sad and the baby is the one losing a mother, but try to get on with her life and move on. If a man is going to be so heartless to dump that kind of drama in your lap, she doesn't need that. Just imagine what else he may do in the future. Go find someone who cares for your feelings.

No she shouldn't. She needs to sit her bf and the child's mother down and let them know that she would like to continue to be apart of the child's life. Then she has to decide what she'll do from there based on what their responses are.

sad as it may be its their daughter and your friend may get hurt because it appears he still has something for the babies mam ma. so prepare your friend and stick by her side. remember even if they do not get together the ex will always be in his life because of the child.

nope. tell her to tell him that he needs to choose between her or the baby mama. it doesn't sound like he's gonna choose her though, if he's trying to make his daughter go back to her mother and she was in jail. he's probably sneaking around behind her back.
