Illegal immigration, whether they are Mexican or Micronesian is a nationwide problem. It's not a stump issue for a political party, it is a real issue that is having more negative than positive impact on America. Don't be blinded and frozen in ideology, act and help make this country a better place for you and your family. If you believe "Bush's illegal wiretapping program" is worth fighting, then formulate a plan and get involved in the political process. Trying to link two unrelated issues in order to cause a stir accomplishes nothing.

I'm not opposed to Republicans, I'm opposed to people who do nothing but add to our problems in this country. And no, I'm not Republican.

Your question, although stupid, requires two answers:

Mexican illegals are taking resources away from Americans including hospitals, emergency servies and schools, and they are contributing nothing in the way of taxes.

The Presidents wiretapping program is NOT illegal as you so ignorantly believe. Why would the government not want to listen in to a phone call between someone in the USA and a known international terrorist?

Are you libs really that freakin' dumb?

First of all, Bush's wire tapping is illegal because they're doing it without a permit, and they've been found doing it with people who have pretty much no connection with terrorists at all.

And the reason they are so against illegal immigrants i that since they don't pay taxes, they are draining the economy, and they like wiretaps because it's "protecting" America and is "patriotic."

Republicans want more illegals not less. Bush has said he "supports amnesty". Republicans have had control of Congress for 6 years. In that time they have done nothing about this problem. You are confused. BTW, the wire tapping, with no warrant was a un lawful act in Office since Congress has not passed the legislation they have now before them. The legislation before Congress now makes what Bush did legal. If it passes. Republicans commit crimes in office then pass new laws after the fact which makes the crime legal.

Republicans love illegal immigration. Where else could they get cheap labour who cannot go to the authorities when they are mistreated. Republicans generally love anything to do with seeing more people go to jail or get the death penalty as this is a law and order issue.

Because the Republicans pick and choose which issues to be morally indignant about. Ask the V.P. about Halliburton's non-competitive bid process for contracts in Iraq and Afghanistan. See what kind of answer you get! Ask Kellogg Brown and Root about nonpayment of Defense Base Act cases to employees injured in the line of duty in war zones.

I know two Republicans who ran for office and lost. In their campaign's they talked so much how they were going to crack down illegal immigrants. They're both millionaire's, both own restaurants and hotels and both have illegal immigrants working for them as dishwashers and maids.... it's hard to take them seriously...

Illegal wiretapping will not kill you and hundreds of illegal Mexicans have killed Americans.

Secretly Republicans love illegalls. They can pay less than minimum wage to these people; tell them to keep their mouths shut, and pass them off as Iraqis.

Educate yourself. Illegal immigrants are illegal. Phone taps on terrorist suspects are legal. Even the few smart democrats agree.
