In my opinion, you should get a monroe (I have one and LOVE it) on the left side so balance your face a bit or stick with a off center lip piercing, probably also to the left side of your face.

Wow, I only observed what a jestrum replaced into and it is fantastically cool searching. I have a center lip piercing, and that i love the look of it. I have a stud. i love vertical labrets because they don't damage enamel, even though it relies upon on who has it. My pal had one and it looked reliable on her, yet some chick got here to my interest some months in the past with one, and it looked crappy on her. To be unique, bypass with a jestrum. i love that one lots now.

I say do it in the middle. But what do you mean, labret? That's not the same as a lip piercing. If you are talking about labret, don't do that...Do the opposite. Pierce the indentation above your upper lip.

I have been told lips are a very painful piercing. I would go for one side as a central piercing may highlight any natural asymmetry in the face while a piercing to one side would not make this happen.

Female; centre (labret). No offense, but a lot of girls do not suit a side one. look's a lil too butch. Kinda like forearm tattoo's. Some do suit it, but most don't.
Male, side. It looks beter, although a lot of people do look good with a labret, side is better for men.

I take it you're not planning on becoming a Doctor or a Lawyer.

You shouldn't do this. There are a lot of bacteria around and in the mouth. It could impede healing, and encourage scarring. It also makes you more vulnerable to infections in the pierced area in the future. Ears are different, not as much bacteria around them, and they aren't being moved/touched as much as the mouth area.

If you must, though, I think that the single piercing, bottom lip, center looks best.

i have a lot of piercings myself and i recently got my tongue done and i have my lip done also. but its like this if you are a skater and follow rock n roll and heavy metal music your more than likely to get it done on 1 of the bottom sides. most people get it done in the middle of the bottom lip or the side of the top lip it really depends on what you feel looks better.

labrets look a bit freaky in my opinion, a ring at the side looks good.

I have to say it, please do not do this. I swear I am not alone when I say that I always do a double take when someone wears a lip ring because it looks like slobber, drool, or some lunch left there. I know it is just a personal opinion but I wanted to put it out there because people will see this, like me and you should be aware.
