No - it's STUPID !!! I mean why??? You need soap to wash anything. Dish soap to wash dishes - hand soap to wash hands - laundry soap to wash ..... and so on. I would really consider looking at the person's hygiene who gave you that advice. Dont borrow anything from them.

Conditioner doesnt clean your hair, it only makes it softer. If u want to clean your hair u must use a shampoo before the conditioner otherwise u can make your hair oily from too much conditioner build up (due to all the moisture your putting in)

It's supposed to be better for your hair to shampoo it less and just condition it. Most hairdressers that I've been to have suggested washing it a few days a week or every other day. I once had a hairdresser that only washed her hair with shampoo once a month but she had really short hair, so it probably looked better dirty. Using conditioner after you use shampoo will also make your hair softer and less frizzy. Experiment and see what works for you hair type.

If you want clean hair it is bad for it because it will make your roots super oily. You should use shampoo everytime you wash your hair and only use conditioner every time if your hair is long, thick, or really dry but if it's not just use it every other time you wash and use a detangler or something lighter to get the tangles out... Hope I helped!

If you wash your hair with just conditioner it can make it look greecy after a couple of days but like on a Monday, Wednessday, Friday and Sunday or what ever wash it with Shampoo and conditioner and then other days wash it with just Conditioner.

Or you could wash it with a Sleek and shine shampoo every day along with a conditioner.

it particularly is undesirable. Wash all of it out. It leaves a buildup on your hair, makes it flake, makes it oily, and over the years damages your hair. in case you like the comfortable sense, purchase a sprig on go away in conditioner like bumble&bumble Prep spray.

Yes, conditioner has NO cleaning agents . . . you need shampoo to remove body oils & dirt.
Conditioner adds oils so obviously, it is not removing the old dirty stuff.
Shampoo first, then condition for no frizz.

It's recommended if you have naturally dry, frizzy, curly hair to wash with conditioner only...as it doesn't strip the hair of natural oils. I do this, and I notice my hair is a lot more supple. I love it!

Its not bad, but your not cleaning your hair. Your just moisterizing your hair. Too much build-up, plus the shine of a greasy scalp and the conditioner's moister looks gross!

Only because the conditioner won't actually wash your hair.

It doesn't contain any cleaning agents, so I'd recommend using shampoo first.

its definatley not bad at all. but i would reccoment using shampoo because shampoo it what actually cleans your hair. conditioner purpose is more for like frizz controle and to do just what it is "CONDITION". but its definatley not bad
