Info on a scary movie... [details inside]?

Question

Tomorow night my daughter is going to the mall with her friends.
they are all going to see The Return but she isnt good with scary movies.
But she is determined to go see it and i basically want to know if it will be okay with her
[she is 14]
and i would also like to know if the movie is gory?

The movie from what my son told me from the trailers is going to be very scary. Hopefully your daughter is coming home after the movie, sit and talk to her about it and be prepared to be up awhile. My kids are older so I am not completely up on the rating system, but can she even get in to see it? That aside. This is a great training tool that sometimes mom may know best, when she is scared and can't go to sleep, and sometimes daughter knows herself well, she may make it through fine. Either way a great bonding time with your daughter after the movie. She may talk you into seeing it.....
