rite i feel a bit of tit asking this haha
i got nail varnish on my footie shirt last nite, ive washed it but its not come out. any ideas how i get it of, i didnt wanna try nail varnish remover in case in stains the shirt
any help would be appreciated

Acetone will remove it. Acetone is available in shops (it is usually sold as "nail varnish remover") but hardware stores sometimes sell it as acetone.
Acetone is a solvent and may dissolve or damage a plastic logo or pattern on the shirt so be careful!

Go to this link: http://www.diynot.com/pages/st/st046.php I just used their advice to get chewing gum out of a skirt and it worked a treat. best of luck, by the way, u really should explain how the nail varnish got on the footie shirt?? :)

don't get a coloured nail varnish remover to try and avoid staining or take it to the dry cleaners!

Nail Vanish remover, then a quick straight wash, or Dry cleaners.
Best bet, dry cleaners.

The only way to completely remove the stain is to cut it out with scissors. Sorry.
