When you're stuck with a day that's grey and lonely.... I just stick out my chin and grin and say......
The Sun will come out tomorrow, bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow they'll be sun.....
what are you wearing? la la la la how can we sleep when our beds are burning..... oh you said bridges... xx

I think every one has left a burning bridge behind at some stage in their life. Its how you deal with them that is important. If a particular burning bridge is affecting you, then you have a regret about it. If it is possible to 'rebuild' that bridge, then try and do so. If it is not possible, then move on and get on with your life. We cannot spend our lives with regrets. The past is history as they say. Move forward and make the best of your life in the future. We all make mistakes. :o)

Only ever been pushed so far there was no turning back when I walked out of a job one evening and never came back. That was a one off though.
Generally it's not in my nature to as I am always thinking too far ahead for my own good. Hence I will never leave a burning bridge in case I ever need to cross it again. I keep as many escape routes open as possible. Gets me out of trouble

Man, you'd think I was behind the burning of Atlanta!
My mom used to always tell me, "Be careful not to burn your bridges, you never know when you'll have to cross back over them" But I kept marching on with my flamethrower!

I only burned one bridge in my life. I quit one job that I hated. I gave the obligatory notice...so maybe that bridge is not entirely burned. I am so wishy-washy!

Thank goodness I'm not the only one. I have tendrils of guilt over the bridges I have burnt. At least I can see its human nature.
