Where Do Sheep Go When it Rains???

This question has been on my mind for quite a while. Everyone I study with has been wondering where do they go when it rains. Do they stand there, get sick and die? Or do they find a shelter somewhere and stay safe??

Yes thats very true. But the sheeps that I pass by to go to work (2 miles away from my house); they don't have any shelter, what do they do WITHOUT shelter

I am going to research this because it is a facinating question. But I am assuming that it does not matter if they stand in the rain as they have so much lanolin in their coat that the water never gets to their skin and if it does it simply does not soak into anything to make them sick.

Housing needs vary by climate, lambing season, and individual preferences. If lambing will occur during periods of inclement weather, more elaborate housing is generally required. If lambing will occur on pasture during periods of mild weather, simple shelters may be all that is needed. Lambing percentages are higher when shed lambing is practiced. Housed sheep have lower nutritional requirements. Sheep raised outside have fewer respiratory problems....
Adult sheep can handle cold and wet weather rather well, but newborn lambs cannot. The combination of cold and wet can kill even a two week old lamb, if there is not sufficient shelter. Emergency shelter is needed for bad storms. Nutrition is the key to keeping sheep outside in the winter. If they have enough to eat, they will stay warm.

My babydoll sheep are standing in their
field, pouring down rain. They have a nice barn full of hay to go to!!

nowhere.. they just all die off. Thats why you can't eat Lamb or wear things made out of wool, because all the sheep are dead. Or they go to the BAAAAAATHroom hah ah ;afjds; jdsaf
