What I don't understand is why are you even in the horoscopes section if you don't believe in any of this????? It amazes me how so many people in this section don't believe in this stuff, but yet your here all the time. If you don't believe in this stuff that's fine, but don't come here posting questions like this and then put other people down for what they believe. If I was an unbeliever I sure wouldn't be wasting my time in this section.

Horoscopes is a combination of astrology and astronomy but laid out in a psychological and an ominous state to tell what we are like and what we are born to be. And I believe that we do have free will, but there are forces of nature that turn our fate for good or the bad. Another thing is too, you don't necessaritly because you're a particular signs fit into all the criteria of that sun sign, and that is why when you get a full birth chart the personality of two people born on the same day is different. There is a power greater than all of us, and since we can't know the answers to the universe a horoscope is a fun and entertaining way to be guided through our everyday life, and a lot of it is true......

Here's my deal with astrology.
I first got into it as a way for me to understand why I am the way I am. More of a "concrete" understanding. By looking at my birth chart, I could finally go, oh! ok. I know why I have a really quick temper (Moon in Aries). Oh! I know why I feel such a connection to needing to be in a relationship (Venus and Sun in 7th house). It gave me something that I could look at and understand why I am me.
To answer your question, I think a lot of people have a twisted view of astrology. Astrology can by no means predict the absolute future. It's a road map. It shows you where you could be going. In the end, we all have free will. Fate will do what it will, but we are still able to make choices in our lives and work through things. You can work through energies in astrology through your birth chart. That's why there are aspect patterns like T-squares. You work through the energy of the t-square and good things happen (since t-squares are notoriously bad). If you want to. If you don't, then you don't.
That's my belief in astrology. I think that a lot of people see their sun sign, think it's crap, and then write off astrology as crap. It's fine to hate it and not believe in it, but give it a shot before you write it off. It may be more true than one would think.

I believe in horoscopes b/c every morning I wake up to start the day off I read the horoscope & my day by very smooth. Sometimes it speeks the truth about some people.

horoscopes are crap. no one can tell the future. what is real is astrology and it's influence on our personalities. get a birth chart done to find out your moon, rising, venus, mars, etc, and u will see..............people who use this section use it for astrology but because there is no astrology column then they have to use the horoscopes one because it comes from astrology but its all for entertainment purposes.
p.s. there is more to u than the sun sign (the one in magazines and newspapers). that would be too vague if everyone just had a sun sign!

It doesn't tell you what to do or what is going to happen it just gives you suggestions based on what the stars say about you. But hey i am a hippie and a medium so why ask me.
