I'd use the opportunity of having to go to court by piggy backing on her suit and file a counter suit for eviction and restitution in accordance to the landlord tenant act of your state you should have an attorney give you guidance before you go to court. In court anything can happen and you could end up holding the low end of the stick even though you state that you have done nothing wrong.
Here is some general information that might help you out.
HUD consumer complaints: http://www.hud.gov/offices/hsg/sfh/res/resrefer.cfm
Free legal aid search for all states: http://www.lawhelp.org/
American Bar Association: http://www.abanet.org/about/ or http://www.abanet.org/statelocal/home.html
On the following link you should find your state's web site and once there go to the Attorney General's office and look up information on your state Landlord Tenant Act
All US States Constitutions and Web sites: http://www.constitution.org/cons/usstcons.htm
Be careful many years ago in California a 1st year law student filed a law suit against a large apartment owner because of different issues and the large apartment owner continued to ignore and or properly defend against it and the law student after a few years ended up with the entire complex. Get a lawyer

Getting rid of a bad tenant depends on state law.

Some states have pamphlets about this, and if you'd hire an attorney this one time, I'm sure they'd help you figure out how to do it on your own in the future. Honestly, there's really not much fun or money in it for a lawyer, they'd be glad if you did it yourself.

Kill her and dump the body.

Give her 30 days notice and kick her out. She prob. won't find anywhere to go in 30 days considering she lost her sect. 8. Take pictures of the house to take with you to court and try and get some documents from power company about her stealing to bring with you to. Get police reports. Get op on her if u really want to get her out less 30 days.
