I think most peole in the UK now want to see a return to capital punishment, the poltical parties are against it so will not become law. I don't think it should be restricted or even mandatory for the offences you listed but should come down to the decision of a judge and from the procecution requesting it be considered . I would use it for persistent serial offenders who are career criminals and a menace to society, keeping these people alive ant the cost to the tax payer is insane. I have no truck with the liberals who believe in rehabilitation or redemption and want a criminal justice system that protects society and punishes the guilty. We as a people agree acceptable codes of conduct if people choose to live outwith these should we allow them to remain in the society.

If we assume that there is no deterrent to stop this kind of criminal activity then we would be giving the death penalty not as a punishment but just to get rid of them from the face of the earth.

There are some criminals that deserve this but if the law were changed we would start getting loads of dodgy decisions again like the last time capital punishment was acceptable.

Make them break rocks and live like pigs........till they die.

No intelligent person would ever be in favour of the death penalty, only Sun readers and other bottom dwellers want it, because they are too frickin' stupid to comprehend the ramifications and the scope for mistakes.
