Superficially it is Individual Liberty, but in reality it is Social Conformity.

Conform or go to jail .
If approached by the authorities smash your face into the ground as quickly as possible .This avoids a beating and charges by police and gets you a few days at the funny farm rather then jail . Babble often and drool a lot and you can avoid many trumped up charges and fines .

I would have to say social conformity!!! Individual liberties are taken for granted, but to fit into society seems to be the fad!!!

Conformity always has been. It's easier to just go along with the group. It's the exceptions who make history.

Conformity... In other words take what you think and feel and stick it up your "butt", because you are out of the normal or the expected. I want my Liberty's, that are given to me by the Constitution with out fear of those who wish to oppress me. After all I am American and I have things I want to say, and I shall say them!!!

I blame public education.
Our school system punishes novel thinking. Punishes creative intellect. Rewards conformity. Rewards average.
