YES!! It's a lame holiday that costs money for costumes, dental bills for cavities and a bunch of crap in the stores.
PLUS, it's really lame that older kids go door to door just to get candy and I've even seen some kids that don't even dress up and come to your door for treats!

That is a strange question to ask when you are not really asking for an honest answer but only an answer from people who have the same opinion as yourself. Halloween is not a tradition that is big in my country but there are other traditions that no doubt people would consider to be the peoples right to celebrate. If the right to celebrate halloween is taken away, then what will be next. Big brother already is watching people way too much and governs what people have the right to do and what they don't . So the question should be what basic rights should the government be allowed to take from the people and where does it stop.
And if you are doing a report and not like the answers that you are getting, maybe you should have stated that first so everyone had the correct information to answer with. And if you are as you say doing a report I would think you would need statistics for and against to formulate it.

Halloween is something you may not ban. Yah youngsters do stuff on that nighttime in spite of the undeniable fact that it relatively is no longer continuously their fault. mom and dad would desire to communicate with them approximately it or it would desire to be undeniable and straightforward peer rigidity. What i prefer to comprehend is the variety you're saying it teaches little ones violence! some youngsters think of of it as an excuse to apply violence because of the fact Halloween is a creepy undesirable relaxing time! youngsters think of they are able to flee with it! Banning Halloween would have destiny generations no longer have the potential to expierience the relaxing of the nighttime. halloween is aside of historic past and you will't only erase it.

Sorry, its American culture and its not going to change just because a few people don't like it. Its fun! It does have pagan roots, but Christmas coincides with Yule, Winter Solstice and Saturnalia so its kind of a no-brainer about that one too.
I'm an atheist, but I think these are so much fun they should stay even if they are semi-religious. Come on, if you can't enjoy staying up late and drinking eggnog and eating Santa's cookie platter you need to lighten up. Religion is smaller and smaller part of it every year.

I am sorry, but I need to tell you that you are wrong. It is a tradition passed down from Ireland. It is a tradition that helps follow their culture. By saying you can't in America, (the place that allows all religions, traditions, and cultures are free) or anywhere in the worry is wrong. They are just practicing their religion that has spread to be a great American tradition.

I think Halloween should be banned because it is an open invitation for demonic forces to take control of peoples lives and there is nothing holy about it. It is one of satan's trick to take control of you spiritually and emotionally.

YES!!!!! It is the most pathetic holiday ever! The costumes get more stupider every year too. I think alot of people would be happier if they wouldn't have to be inconvenienced by this unfortunate holiday

Is someone forcing you against your will to observe Halloween? Are they holding a gun to your head and making you dress up like a ballerina and go trick or treating? People like you enrage me. If you don't like it, don't participate, but don't try to ruin it for everyone else.
