You have to get all five shadows and then put them in the bottom level. You can see the first one easy. The second one is on that ledge in the first room near the door. Then you can see another one in the sorcerer ring changer. To get that one, light the face thing and then go to the other face that corresponds with it. Push it in and that will make a bridge. The others are fairly easy. just explore. If you see the screen blink and see the shadows go off by themselves and stop at an area, that area is where they will be if you leave that room. When heading down to the bottom, let the shadows keep up. It is hard to explain how to get there, but just go down the stairs. If you lose one, then you have to go back and touch it. The shadow's dungeon is also where you fight Abyssion, the hardest boss at the end of the Devil's arm sidequest. On mania difficulty, I was level 130's with 9999 health and 999 TP. He thoroughly spanked me all over the place. I had to use and All-Divide. In fact, I would not recommend fighting him on normal unless level 80. Level 70 if you use an All-Divide.
I don't know too much about this dungeon in particular, but if you need help, then post another TOS question. I look for them often.
