Vinegar is 5% acetic acid which is not a strong acid. depending on the strength it can be pH 2 to 4

pure vinegar is acidic. about 2 pH

I just measured my vinegar in the lab. I got a 2.36----BiLo cheapo vinegar 5% acid strength.
