Rap music was invented by ignorant street people now almost everyone listens to it it isn't creative and it is violent trash. There are lots of overly violent tv shows and then ones that are made for people with an IQ of 1. The government starts a stupid war and manages to get other countries involved. Why do people allow this? Are they that blind to the world around them?

I'm going to overlook your misspelling, your rant, your slam against another user.

Because you have raised a valid issue.

The enemy is US. We allow it. Want to stop it, start at home. Don't know what else to tell you.

I'd tell you the problem is public education, but at least some of those kids can spell.

The media is a business that seeks profits...the owners get to "teach" the public what their view of the world should be using selective and outright deceptive reporting
Repettition is the basic teaching aid ..the more the story/info is aired the more likely people will accept it as fact...
i.e. "pelosi is the first female speaker of the house" reality--she WILL be the first speaker of the house in January when her nomination is confirmed by the House vote...
at this point in time she is nominated and holds no new position
Most people R not blind, they mistakenly believe that the news/(media/print) provide "accurate" info .... and they dont have the time or desire to check out sources/"news facts".
The protection provided by the founders "freedom" of the press was never designed to "cover" a bussiness's desire to promote or oppose issues simply because the owner(s) desired a specific outcome...
The people were to elect representatives to Congress that would serve the people and defend the country.. What WE HAVE are politicians who seek a lifetime job with prestigue, power, perks and a incredibly light "work schedule" that is not required to actually produce anything on time...
The IQ of the people is frankly irrelevent as are their desires since the people cant compete with all the lucrative under the table deals needed to fund trhe re-election pots..voters can be massaged or pushed by outrage or a need to defend the "right" things.

The media is there for all of us to make the most valuable use that our mentality will allow us to i would direct you to the Google Machine and recommend that you research the low life media from their viewpoint instead of polluting Yahoo with your high degree of Ignorance.

if you've come this far... the answer should be PAINFULLY OBVIOUS...

but fine... I'll take the the last mile...

it's easily seen in the census...

THE MAJORITY ARE LOW CLASS... THE MAJORITY ARE IGNORANT STREET PEOPLE... as you say...

and the majority sets the market in a capitalistic society...

it sounds like you are PAINFULLY blind to the world around you...

what do you watch/listen to exactly... I'm curious?

The News Media was taken over by the Hippies of the 60's.
The Hippies also took over as professors in colleges.
The Hippies still don't take baths. And still stink.

People are stupid. Especially this culture.

You forgot to mention that millions smoke cigarettes, let themselves get and stay fat, experiment with drugs, have sex with strangers without a condom, go to tanning salons, drive aggressively, and keep themselves in debt buying stupid crap.

Its a nation of idiots.
