I left my Latin book at school & need some help with some words.
The Latin online dictionaries that i've tried, didn't help at all.

If someone can help me define at least some of the words, that would be great. Thanks

intrare
excitare
purgare
portare
vexare
revocare

Intro, intrare - to enter
Excito, excitare - to rise forth, excite
Purgo, purgare - to clense, justify, or clean away
Porto, portare - to carry, hold, wield, or suffer (stylistic)
Vexo, vexare - to annoy or agitate.
Revoco, revocare - to call back, to revoke (re prefix + voco, vocare)

From now on, try searching for the present, 1st person indicative forms. Dictionaries will always sort alphabetically by this form for all conjugations.

'Hope this was helpful.

I am not 100% sure, but I think these are the translations. Have you posted this in Arts and Humanities under Languages? There are some people on YA who do really good Latin translations and they may browse there more than in Education.

intrare - I think this means to invoke
excitare - to call forth, bring about, wake up, raise up
purgare - to clean out, cleanse, justify
portare - to carry or possibly to open
vexare - to shake up
revocare - to call back, recover, refer, revoke

Have you used this link before? It may help you in future. Best of luck.

These are common words - are you searching for the first person singular, or the infinitive? If you want to know what intrare means, you need to look up intro (I enter). Same with all the others.
