That's not an easy question as learning is hard work and so is teaching. Kids do homework, but teachers do preparation work. Kids write exams and teachers have administrative duties. Kids get the summer offbut usually work for the summer, while teachers go back to summer school to upgrade their qualifications.
Sorry, I think it's a tie.

The teacher is probably more tired than the student. Look at it this way-how many teachers do you deal with on any given day? Now how many students does a teacher have to deal with on any given day? Since the students far outnumber the teachers, the teachers must be like a hundred more times tired than the students!!!

I think it can be pretty even. As a teacher, I have to be thinking every moment while students can just sit there and tune me out. But other days, if they are taking a test, they are in deep thought and I only have to answer questions when needed. So it varies each day.
If students truly works hard at good grades, then they are very tired by the end of the day.

I think that your teacher was too tired to teach you how to write properly in English and that you were too tired to even care how you write. It's a tie.
