There's a good sized bump/ball on my knee. its on the outside of my right knee though. When you run your fingers over it. it is a small hard ball. And it moves around. However it is also sensitive to touch and hurts. I haven't hit it on only anything. But it continues to make my knee hurt. Maybe Im just paranoid. But I just need to know, if it coudl be a sist, and nothing major.

Sounds like a cyst to me. If it is causing you pain, I would suggest that you see your physician as soon as possible. They will probably do an Xray to make for sure what is going on in there. If it is a cyst, they will drain it with a needle and syringe. They will give you numbing medication before draining it. There has been documented cases of blood clots forming in the knee joint.
Hope this helps.

sounds like water on the knee is what's called you, see if the doctors says drain it and they give you a painkiller and the doc remove the fluid from the knee that has built up from an injury, otherwise they say that leaving it could be bad on the undrained fluid to change to a toxic arthritis mess

Well its probably not serious but in order to know for sure you need to go to your doctor and find out. Just in case you bumped it without realizing it give it a day or two and then go to your doc if its not gone. Good luck.

Sounds normal to me. Some people when they poke around their knee area notice lots of bumps and lumps and strange things. All of these are normal and it wont be a cyst.

See your Pharmacist if your worried. They'll examine you and advise you.
