In Special education: PT= physical therapist or therapy... however.. if you are looking for a job PT means part time.

PT means physical therapy. Physical therapy is a specialist who works with muscles and joints to help restore movement after an accident or surgery, or to improve function of a part of the body that needs help. PT's work with all ages and types of people. They use tools like excercise, stretching, massage, ultrasound (not the same type as when you are having a babay), electrical stimulation, whirl pool, heat, ice, and much more! They can also help you to get ready to go back to work after an accident.

It mean Physical Therapy. In special ed. a PT may provide services to a child who qualifies because their handicap may hinder the learning process.

PT is short for Physical therapy or Physical Therapist. Likes wise OT stands for occupational therapy/therapist and ST or SLP stands for speech language pathologist.
