A period is what every non-pregnant women hasabout every month although it differ from one women to another. It is the evacuation of the lining of the women's uterus through the vagina. It last around 7 days for some women, for other less or more. It really depends. To be more simple, it is blood coming from your uterus and being evacuated through your vagina since the lining of your uterus is not needed for a non-pregnant women. During your period, you have to use pads, menstrual cups or tampons or other things like those to collect the blood if you do not want to have your clother soaked with blood.
