My friend is freaking out. She and her boyfriend were fooling around I guess and she says that they didn't have sex, but her boyfriend did finger her. Now I was wondering what the problem was when she said that he may have had precum on his fingers. I know that precum MAY contain a little bit of sperm in it, but then again, it may not. Her boyfriend never ejaculated and so that would lessen her chances of being pregnant.
Okay... so I guess what my question is is, what are the chances of getting pregnant from precum as opposed to ejaculate? (Serious answers would be helpful as I REALLY want my friend to stop worrying...)

Well, it's very less likely that she will get pregnant just from that but it's possible. The probability is low, but in numbers it's like, 1 out of 1000 last time I checked. Still, if she's one of those lucky ones out of a thousand, there's cause for worry...
Usually, what needs to happen is that she would be in her fertile days, which she can calculate using the fertility predictor on americanbaby.com, then if she was in her first days, I say, there's no cause for worry... but in her ovulating day... well that could give her some worry... tell her to wait 2 weeks and take an early preg. test. and get it over with, and next time I prescribe something that is very effective for her.
Aspirin... Only not by mouth, she needs to hold that aspirin between her legs until it melts. That way she will never get pregnant... (Cuz the aspirin doesn't melt but if she is holding her legs together tight, chances are there won't be room for any activity down there - ok, it's a joke, you can laugh...)
I hope the best for you and your friend!

There is always a chance of pregnancy when the sex is unprotected. Precum or not. That being said, it's not so much viable sperm that is in precum so much as it is left over viable sperm from leftover ejauculation(s) that could lead to pregnancy.
So, there is a chance. The internet though will never be able to tell you or your friend really.

hey.. its very unlikely that she could be pregnant.. not all pre *** has sperm in it.. when it does its leftover sperm from the last time the guy ejaculated, but its still rare. even if he did get some inside of her that was on his finger, sperm dies the second it's exposed to air, so i really wouldn;t worry about it...im sure it's nothing, her being pregnant its like one in a million. hope everything turns out okay..but worrying and thinking your pregnant can prolong her period and make her body think she is pregnant and have hormonal imbalances, so if her periods late, or she's having signs, just let her know its her brains reaction to worry and stress...the more she worries about it, the worse she's gonna get. she's probably not pregnant; its nearly impossible.

Tell your friend its nothing. Sperms in Precum is 10/1000. And even if her bf had a precum with sperm in his fingers, the sperm will instantly die when exposed to oxygen, i guess. Bottom line, ITS NOTHING. Stop being paranoid, its not even sex.

Precum is normal and in rare cases you can become pregnant. Since rare doesn't translate into never, tell your friend to make the guy use a condom. I know we all know this, but you can never start hearing it.

Quit asking this and tell your 'friend' if she doesn't want to get pregnant, to keep her self out of those kinds of situations. It's just common sense.
