Not sure about moon landing, but when Homer is floating around eating potato chips, they are playing:

"The Blue Danube Waltz", by Johann Strauss II
(original German title: An Der Schönen Blauen Donau op. 314)

It is a great piece of music btw :-)

Addendum: If you can wade through the ads, the following site has a free download of the above music :-)

Addendum 2: Also Sprach Zarathustra is most likely the one you are looking for. Go to: http://www.ez-tracks.com/ and type "Also Sprach Zarathustra" in the search box... will give you a free download. It has Drums, Trumpets and was used in the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Could be Also Sprach Zarathrustra, I can't find a download for it at the moment, but it's the one they always play when there's a rocket taking off.
