take the usb cord attached to it, plug it into a usb port on your computer, ((on the front or back of it)), then go into an instant messaging or chat program, such as yahoo messenger or msn messenger, and the rest is pretty self explanatory

then add peoples address that you know, and you can instant message them with your webcam
