Ice skating
A drive in movie some r still around.
you could always leave some flowers with a message kind of like a mystery and tell her to meet you somewhere.Take her on a trail ride with horses or a restaurant with romantic live music and ask for the singer pianist or whatever to deticate the song to her.
Fin a campsite for an evening light a fire roast some smores and hotdogs maybe bring a guitar and sing her a song or just bring a radio n when a slow song comes on just take her hand and slow dance.

If you take a look at the theme, you'll see that most of the most romantic places people are suggesting is something that lets you spend time alone in a nice quiet setting. Most of what makes it romantic will depend upon her personality and yours. Personally, I love going out someplace away from the city either near the water or where you can see a lot of stars (or both) - I just find both to be really beautiful. The picnic idea is nice, but food is not always necessary. Sometimes, what's really nice is to be someplace where there's just a small breeze - it gives a good excuse for getting close.
In the cooler weather, a small dimly lit restaurant is nice. Try going to see a movie in a theater in a small town, where you would not expect a large crowd. But make sure it's not an action flick. If you're the type who might like to do something a little different, go roller skating.

The most romantic place my boyfriend has taken me is the hot springs (clothing optional) We started in the sauna and sweated to our hearts content, then we went to the massage house where they have dim lights and everyone talks quietly. We had the room to ourselves and gave each other hour long massages with lavender scented massage oil. Then we went to dip in the hot springs. It was a clear night and we could just lay back and look at the stars through the steam of the pool. I'm not normally a girl who likes to be naked but when he took me there I got hooked. It's the most relaxing place and we go there at least once a month now, and sometimes over the whole weekend for a retreat.

Here's something a bit more realistic and affordable:
Make a picnic! Have nice food: Mini sandwiches (r something similarly cute), salad, cheeses, wine, bottled water, dessert, flowers, etc. Don't forget a good blanket!
Then pick her up and take her to the park, if it's a nice day. If not, bring her to your living room and light the fireplace (or a few candles) and enjoy a nice quiet picnic on the floor!
If you don't like the picnic idea, just try to cook a romantic dinner for her--really show her your skill. That'll be sure to impress her!
Tips: No garlic or raw onion. Chocolate is ALWAYS a good choice. Complement your beverage to your food. Dress up. Use your best manners. Type up a "menu" and have it waiting on her plate for her when you arrive. Soft classical music in the background. You get the idea...

Depending on where you live and your budget. The Melting Pot is EXTREMELY romantic but pricey. For a couple plan $ 100 dollars easy. Its a fondue type resturaunt with all types of sauces, chocolates deserts meats etc to dip together.
Also on a lower budget Black Angus Steak house is nice the booths are all partioned off from one another so you have alot of privacy in a public place.
Good luck

Theater and dinner. I love taking dates to see a show and dinner. I find that anywhere you take a woman that is something she usually is not exposed to seems romantic because you put thought into what she might like. But as long as you find a quaint, quiet dimly lit bar to finish the evening with a discussion of what she found exciting and interesting in the evening, over a cocktail, you, my friend are a romantic.

There is nothing more romantic than a good picnic. Or dinner near the water, ocean, lake or restaurant with a big fish tank...there is just something about water. Also buying someine a single red rose has to be the ULTIMATE in romance! Have fun!

If you can afford it. Take her to TAJ MAHAL in Agra,India. Sitting in front of TAJ,holding her hand, gazing in her eyes is the most romantic place.Remember the great TAJ MAHAL was built by moghul king SHAH JEHAN in memory of his queen BEGUM MUMTAZ about 500 years ago.It is said that he lived behind his queen for many years and for hours he used to look at this marvellous monument of love from his bedroom window.TAJ is built by Italian and Indian marbels, spotless white, great structure and legendary site at the bank of YAMUNA RIVER.You have to see the beauty twice. Daytime and nighttime in the moonlight.Goodluck.

I always recall the wonderful date Robert DeNiro and Cybil Shepard had in Taxi Driver. They went to the movies. So it was a porno flick. At least they didn't get the popcorn.
