STRUCTURE OF THE SPINAL CORD
- consists of thirty-one segments which gives rise to a pair of spinal nerves which branch out and connects body parts to the CNS

STRUCTURE OF THE CEREBRUM
- hemispheres are connected by a bunch of nerve fibers called the corpus callosum and are separated by a layer of dura mater called the falx cerebri

LOBES OF THE CEREBRUM
the white matter of the cerebrum makes up the bulk and contains bundles of myelinated nerve fibers that connect neuron cell bodies of the cortex with other parts of the NS
