Liberate another country from oppression and then finishing what we started. The answer can be debated no mater what your stance is, but I will try to pass on my understanding and opinion of the subject.

I personally fault ourselves for the situation we are in now. This started before 9/11, back during the Gulf War. If we would have removed Sadam from power when we were able to at the end of the Gulf War, that would have eliminated him from this whole situation, but we didn’t.

The "Weapons of Mass Destruction" claim can be argued both ways. I would like however your definition of a "WMD", because the definition was shifted throughout our endeavors in Iraq. By my definition, we found weapons of mass destruction, but they were not up to our militaries specifications.

Lastly, we are not there for Oil. If we really wanted it we have a huge stockpile in Alaska, no need to invade a country for it.

I agree Iraq was not responsible for 9/11

alright buddy, first off we are not in iraq for oil are we exporting oil from that country to the united states? no i don't believe we are

secondly we DID FIND WMD's in iraq the senate intel. commitee declassified a report saying we found 500+ canisters of Sarin and Mustard gas and that was only a small portion of the document that was decalssified so there may have been more.

we are attempting to do a very noble thing in iraq we gave them a chance at a life free of tyrany.

and your right they didnt cause 9-11 but there were Al-Queda affiliates in that country

had 9-11 never happened we still would have the legal right to liberate taht country: why? you may ask, saddam violated the un cease fire 17 times taht was put in place after the first gofl war
one time is enough to go to war over, legally taht is

I'm not sure who "We" is?

As a liberal Constitutional Preservationist. I am looking for a Massive multi force permanent base located on the gulf in Southern Iraq. With a deep water port to service Aircraft carriers and heavy Cruisers. 2, 20,000 foot runways for heavy C5s and 4 10,000 foot runways. 50 steam powered launch catapults to put as many jets a minute in the air. a 1000 unit vertical take-off pad and the barracks and training facilities for 80,000 man USMC rapid deployment assault group.

With all approiate logistics and support.

The world largest military base.

The goal in Iraq is multi-faceted. It would take someone with a broader mind than you to understand. Everyone knows that Iraq did not cause 9/11.
