If he has plenty of money and isn't just giving you this stuff to keep you around, but because he really cares about you and it makes him happy to buy the stuff for you then yeah thats great.

That question goes both ways it is wrong because you are just taking advantage of his kindness, and when you really need him to come through for you he won't be able to because he won't have the money. But this man is obviously he is letting you do this to him because he's not sure if you'll stay if he don't. But only you can make the right decision!

Accepting anything from that person in the situation you describe would make you no better than a street corner hooker.
Do your self esteem a favour and tell him to stop buying things for you because you will never have any romantic interest in him.
I'm sure deep down you know what is right here ...

Its not wrong to take things he gives you IF you arent leading him on or sleeping with him just to get what you want. If he knows that you only want to be his friend and nothing more then i dont see anything wrong with it. Maybe he has too much money and he doesnt have a problem using it on people he cares about. But please dont lead him on into anything more than a friendship with you.

Prostitutes take money from men all the time without being attracted to the man. But what does your behavior make you?

I was in the same situation a while back and at first he would do it just out of kindness but eventually he wanted other things like going to bed talking about a future and stuff like that. When I finally said nope ain't doing it. He decided I had to pay him back.

Oh my it is really, really wrong to take things from a person whom you are not attracted to. For sooner or later he's gonna want to get pay back from you, and you are not gonna like what he wants you to do. You will feel trapped, disgusted with yourself, and with him. Respect yourself more than this, you're worth it.

if he stopped giving you things would you still want to be around him? think about it. sounds like you're being a leech and leading him on because you want what he has to offer.
remember that old Beatles song- "Money can't buy me love."

It's wrong if you lead him into thinking there might be a romantic relationship between you.
