Every one is going to steer you wrong with this question. If you live in a warm climate then the cheapest non-synthetic SAE 30 oil. if you live where it gets cooler then the cheapest non-synthetic 10w-30 oil you can find.

You most likely need a 4T 10W-40. That is not the same as regular 10w-40 motor oil. Should be able to get at farm stores or ATV dealer. Some good auto parts stores will also carry.

You need to buy oil specifically for ATV's. I use Yamalube.

The reason for this is that the engine oil also functions as transmission lubricant in ATV's whether they are auto or manual. Yes it is more expensive than your garden variety auto oil but DO NOT SKIMP. You will cause damage if you use auto grade oil.

I use veggie oil or dirty *** old oil I pulled from my old car, works good for me.....LMAO, I'm kidding I only use Valvoline ATV ONLY oil in 10w40 and will switch to thicker oil once summer comes back, the Valvoline is 500% better then the JUNK ATV moto master **** crappy tire sells.

get the oil from the dealer in your Mojave it lubes the crank but it take care of the clutches to and it you don't yous the right oil it won't be long you will be putting in clutches stay with a high performance oil or a factory oil hear it a web site you can go to and look at diff oils

10w-40in the winter and sae30 in the summer.
