I don't think that the people were wise putting their money into the Farepack scheme, they would have been better off putting the money into a banks savings account and earn some interest at the same time. The Farepack boss should have his assets taken away from him to reimburse all those who lost money in this scheme. It is most insensitive for him to holiday at a £2000 a night hotel at a time when this controversy is going on.

I don't know what the legal stance is there, but if that was me in his situation I could not enjoy spending that kind of money when so many people had lost out. By the way I hate everything about christmas, so my view would be the same whether it was christmas or not - it just wouldn't feel right.

I don't think he is bankrupt. I think what has happened is one of the companies he owns has ceased trading with big debts. Legally these are two different things entirely. Morally, it is another matter.
