And what are some more obscure recordings of his work that I could find? I have or have access to all the standards, as well as Stonybrook and Atlanta Pop Festival, vol. 2 of the anthology...just hit up the D&D album again because there's some sick stuff in there I hadn't noticed before......
If you know more of his stuff, you might help Skydog live on!

Anyway, even if you can't help me, any tribute to Duane is appreciated.

Love the work of Duane Allman, i think he was a genious guitarist. I am a huge fan of the Allman Brothers band but i'm not sure i would be without Allman's guitar. Dicky Betts was good but Allman was legend. Anything from the live at Fillmore East album is good stuff, or in general just anything live that the band ever recorded. I think you'll find there is a limit as to how much stuff of his you can find because he just simply wasn't around for long enough. And that's a damn shame.

There's a great new book that just came out called "Skydog" by Randy Poe. Check your local bookstore or on Amazon. It has a lot of details about his recording career with the ABB and as a session man.
It's a shame he died so young. Wonder how much other great work he would have done?
Whipping Post!

I was gonna say check out Layla (Derek and the Dominoes/ Eric Clapton), but I guess you already know about it - is that what you meant by D&D?
