If I were you I would change my major to Premed. If your school does not offer that, I would change to Major Biology, Minor Chemistry and get a Bachelor of Science.

You will then need to take the MCAT and do extremely well on it.

Also, if you are white, you will likely need a 4.0 grade point average.

If you are black or hispanic, it is much easier to gain entry to a medical school.

Good luck.

First of all you gotta get accepted to med school after you graduate. Right now if your gpa isn't at least a 3.8 just forget it cuz your not getting in. Med Schools accept alot of degree majors and you should check to see which one you want to switch to .. some of them are chem, math, even english.
I can't stress how much your GPA matters. Most people in a "premed" program don't make it to med school because of how highly competitive it is. You aslo gotta take a test MCAT which you gotta study your butt off for.
Students Usually take their MCAT's the semester before graduation. Usually only top 10% of scores make it on to med school.
Bottom line is if your not a top notch student don't even bother making plans for med school. I laugh at these College freshmen that come in saying they are "premed". They have no idea what it is gonna take to accually make it to med school.
