Here are the numbers:

3/8 (yes the fraction), 4, 5, 8.

All the people in my class are completely stumped, including me, and there is a prize in store for whoever can get it, I just wanna figure this out!

It is a game. The point of the game is to use ALL of the numbers to create the answer of 24.

The game comes in this little stack of cards with 4 numbers on it. You need to do some operation with the numbers to create the number of 24

All the numbers need to be used, but each number can only be used once. In this stack, you can't do exponents, but putting them down would still help.

Here is an example:

2, 3, 4, 1

You can do (2x3)x(4x1) = 24

The answer needs to be in a real equation.

4+5=9
9divided by 3/8=24
i used to love that game, lol

Are you trying to figure out the rest of the pattern or what? You just gave numbers, what is the purpose of those numbers. If it helps the difference between 3/8 and 4 is 3 and 5/8, 1 between 4a dn 5 and 3 between 5 and 8. Please tell me more and I'll help.
