I would suggest to not memorize words, but learn the subject, understand the topic.
Make a list of key points you want to make and then elaborate it with what you know. If you are allowed, bring in note cards with the key points to get you started.
When you understand what you are talking about, it will become easier for you to speak about. You can also give it your own twist by putting your own personality to the presentation.
Good Luck!

What is the topic for the presentation?
1. Give an introduction about your topic
2. If you have handout, or a display, post/distribute.
3. State real "interesting" facts that the average 7th grader would not know about the topic as you present it.
4. Sum up thr presentation and ask if there are questions.
(handouts or an interesting display can consume alot of the time)

Do your presentation on something you are interested in. It's easier to rmember that way. Write out what you want to say and start memorizing a paragraph at a time. Just think 15 minutes is as long as 5 songs on the radio. you know the words to 5 songs right? You can do it. wait till you get to college and have to do one hour presentations!

First do it on a topic you know and like. Make flash cards to help you with it. The best thing to make your speech go well is to get participation from your audience. Do this by asking them questions. Next, use a lot of visual aids. You'll be spending some time describing the visual aids. Thus, eating up some of your time. Once you have your speech finalized, practice it with your family and have one of them time you. Good luck!

Learn what you got to say. If the teacher lets you read at a paper, remember to always stare your fellow students in the eyes and don't always look down on the paper. I was one nervous too but now I rock at it.

I'm sure some of these older women can give you some pointers on doing 15 minute oral presentations.
(Report me if you want, I don't really care.)

Well..If it's your choice make sure it's something you -really- enjoy. Add visuals maybe so you can take five minutes explaining a visual.
If it's not something you like the visual thing is still a good idea.
Another thing I always used to remember things was writing something down over and over..Or, saying it over and over and over practicing. Saying it in my head over and over and over. Try it.
