At the time of her death, some things were going very well for Marilyn Monroe. Although she was unhappy with her treatment at the hand of the Kennedy brothers, we do not believe that that drove her to suicide. That leads to accidental overdose or murder. Accidental overdoses happen all the time, sometimes fatally. While it is certainly possible that Marilyn died as a result of a bad choice mixture of pills and alcohol, her "accidental" death was perhaps too convenient. She was threatening to go public about her involvement with the Kennedy brothers. Then she suddenly dies, and the problem is solved. We believe it is reasonable to conjecture that someone other than Marilyn had a hand in her death. She had threatened to expose rich and powerful figures and may have paid the price with her life.

We may never truly know the real answers to the mysterious death of Marilyn Monroe. Considering her beauty and talent, and her long reign at the Queen of Screen Sirens, she certainly deserved a better exit than she got.

Um....yes.....

She was 36 years old. Her death was ruled as an overdose from the sleeping pill Nembutal. Several conspiracy theories have surfaced in the decades after her death, some involving President John F. Kennedy and/or Robert Kennedy. There is also speculation that her death was accidental, but the official cause of death was "probable suicide" by acute barbiturate poisoning.

On August 8, 1962, Monroe was interred in a crypt at Corridor of Memories, #24, at the Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in Los Angeles, California. Allegedly, this was the day she had planned to remarry DiMaggio [citation needed]. Lee Strasberg delivered the eulogy.

yes she was addicted to sleeping pills mainly, may people think her death was and OD, but no on knows for sure. Marilyn Monroe was addicted to many drugs. Marilyn's drug taking escalated as her career took off. She was certainly taking them (although probably not addicted to them yet) in the early fifties. Ten years later she was almost certainly dependent as her insomnia grew worse. Although the autopsy said her stomach was empty except for the grapefruit from breakfast.

Yes.
Actually she was fired from the movie set of [the original] "Something's Got to Give" due to drug dependency (mostly prescription pills) and chronic lateness...

---- It reminds me of someone *coughs* Lindsay Lohan...---

Marilyn also had a curious addiction to rectal injections (this is true and documented), and she died of a drug overdose...

So yeah you're right ;)

Yes, she was a prescription drug abuser and an alcoholic. She died of an overdose, but that is up to debate.
