I remember when you warned me about that. I was 10 years old at the time, you were long dead and you spoke to me through history in a book and in the face of my public school teacher.
You're wisdom has spanned the ages and its' echo is heard resoundingly in the hearts of every defender of liberty and rights.
You and your ilk are sorely missed by the seekers of truth and justice in these times of turmoil and uncerainty.
Thank you again for a timely reminder. Your legacy is neither gone nor forgotten. Eternal vigil o' hero.

I agree for the most part. However, your time and the time at hand now, are greatly different. The same on one hand, but more advanced in the other. I wish for them simpler times when things moved a little slower, people respected one another more, kids had better home in which to grow in. After all is not our best "Defense against Foreign Danger", is how we respond to them and is not our response our teaching as a child from our Parents? If family values were put back on the table today like they were in the yesterdays, then Defense of any Danger would be simpler.

i would like to add that up until the Spanish American war, the U.S. had been a country founded on isolationism. Why did we have to forsake our forefathers?
