Every region is different, but I can tell you that the Code of Professional Conduct for teachers in my area clearly states: "The teacher may not divulge information about a pupil received [...] in the course of professional duties." There are exceptions for situations where disclosure is required by law and/or where it is in the best interest of the student. This situation falls into neither category. You should arrange to discuss this with your parents and your teacher.

A teacher should not tell your grade to another student. Tell your parents or tell the principal that you are humiliated by your teacher's actions. The teacher should have offered assistance to help you improve your grade not put you out there to be ridiculed by your peers.

I would first report them to the head of the school. Then if there was no action taken I would report them to the state board of education in your state. According to the Department of Education it is an illegal act. I thought it was a code of ethics violation to do such a thing as this but it is actually a law; and teachers should know the law before they enter a classroom.
Don't allow this to just be blown off as "no big deal". It's actually not only a crime but it is an invasion of one's privacy and should be dealth with appropriately.

They are not to tell. It's confidential. It is also very unprofessional of your teacher. I would talk to your parents and maybe have a meeting with your principle. Good luck

first of all, what grade are you in? if you are in elementary school or high school it is not confidential. i had a teacher that would tell each person's grade all the time. if you don't like it tell him so.

I don't think that they are supposed to. Ask your principal and make a complaint about it.
