I started my period when I was 12 years old. I am now 24. I have never had normal periods so hopefully I can help make you a little less worried as none of what you described sounds abnormal - if you were having sex it might be different.

Clear to Milk Colored discharge: is normal. depends on the individual how much discharge they have though. However if it has a bad odor or you are itching you need to go to the doctor because you might have a yeast infection.

Late periods are normal especially the first year or two after you start having them. Mine are still weird after 12 years except for if I am on the pill.

Brown discharge most likely is just normal discharge with blood mixed in. I have had that a few times leading up to and immediatley after my period.

As for the huge dark brown discharge chunk that came out when you used the bathroom. Used to happen to me quite regularly my first few years. It is a build of the lining of your uterus. So instead of coming out a tiny little flakes a bunch came out at once. You really shouldn't be concerned. It is kinda gross looking though.

However if you have never gone to a gyno you or your parents should schedule an appointment. That way you could discuss all of your concerns with them.

Since you say that you just started your period in May, I suspect that your body is just going through some changes as a result. I don't think that it's anything to worry about. I had similar things happen to me (brown discharge and missed periods) within the first few months of starting my period. I have even had brown discharge in the middle of my cycle years after starting my period. I also didn't have my period for 3 months in a row when I was in high school (not sexually active) and everything turned out okay. Our bodies can be very confusing at times, but I think that it's best to keep in mind that many different things can affect our cycles. Stress, different types of food intake, sleep, regulating horomones, etc. So, if you're really concerned, give you dr. a call. Just keep in mind that some "weird" stuff will happen regarding your cycle throughout your life...you'll get more used to it as you go.

If you only started you period last May, then your body just hasn't regulated itself yet. Most girls take a year or two (or more) to settle into a regular cycle, and even then weird things happen for no good reason. So getting your period early (which is what's happening) is perfectly normal. It could be caused by stress, change in diet or exercise, or even a something small like a cold. Or it could be caused by nothing at all.

The clear/milky discharge is perfectly normal. In fact, the color and consistency can indicate when you are ovulating (my husband and I are trying to get pregnant, which is why I know that).
