Usually for me I knew it was too hot if it felt just right, in other words if it feels just right for you, it may be too hot

First off, the hot water tank for the house should not be over 120 degrees F. After that you need to feel the water with the inside of your wrist, or dip your elbow into the water. Do not feel the water out of the tap, as the water can change temp fast, feel the actuall bath water when you are done filling, adjust as needed and then bath baby. :)

put your elbow in the water. The sking on your elbow is very tender so you'll be able set the temp. by that. If it feel's too hot for your elbow, then it's to hot for the baby. If it feels just warm, then it's just right for baby!

Hello,
Well, Target sells these cute yellow duckies that have a BLUE dot on the bottom it. When the BLUE dot turns WHITE, the water is too HOT...it also says HOT on the bottom and that turns WHITE.
Hope this helps you............................... :-)

You can buy a rubber ducky thermometer from Wal-Mart. It will change colors if the water is too hot.

Can you feel it on the inside of your wrist? If so, then it is too hot or too cold.
