Besides making new candles or fireplace scented pine cones, you can use a warmer to melt it for other purposes. I use it to make wax tarts with the little metal tart forms found in the kitchen section at the discounters. Then I use my tart burner to release the fragrance by melting it over the flame. I have a collection of metal stamps with my initials and other images. I use the melted wax to seal envelopes and impress my initial or seal it with the images. I use melted wax saved from candles to seal jars with my infused oils or vinegars that I give as gifts. That $3.99 candle warmer from the discounter keeps the wax leftover in candle jars continually smelling my kitchen until I need it for any of these other uses.

Yes my usage is to make firestarter logs. First get a bunch of wax next get some saw dust from local wood shop or construction site then save up you cardboard style egg cartons. You use a double boiler to melt down the wax (or a potpurri pot) then you fill each egg hole with saw dust then when wax is melted pour it ove the saw dust so it melts threw then when it hardens you can cut the carton into setions and take it camping or crumble it in your fireplace as you do the logs from the store and light it on fire. works awsome. especially good if you have all these materials already and go camping often.

Extra candle wax can also be balled up and saved in a baggy for further uses as such, if you have pets with long hair, you can use the extra wax to clean off the seating in your home. Just rinse it when it no longer picks up, and pat it dry to reuse.

Collect it, carefully melt it, find a new wick and repeatedly dip it/cool it in the hot wax until it forms a new candle. :)
