So im planning a vacation by plane and need to know if im pregnant or not so I know whether to cancel. My last period started October 28th and lasted til November 1st. Im thinking I conceived November 6th-8th. So that would make me 3 weeks pregnant right now. Can I take a test and get an accurate result?? Im having all the symptoms of pregnancy....nausea, sore breasts, emotional, etc etc.... I have my fingers crossed and am hoping!!! But when will it show positive???

That varies based on the test. Read the back of the box to find out; however, most won't show positive until after your missed period. If you go to the doctor for a pregnancy test, it should show up positive (or negative, depending) now.

Planes are only dangerous in your 3rd trimester, by the way. The only time this isn't so is if you are having a high-risk pregnancy. Your doctor can advise you on this.

Good luck! Hope you get what you want.

I think flying when you're pregnant is only not allowed after you are past 8 months. And from my own experience, any of the pregnancy tests will do. I had one give me a positive a week after I conceived. It was faint but definitely a positive.

Some over the counter HPT's will show a result the first day you miss your period. It picks up on a pregnancy hormone called "HCG" from very early on in your pregnancy. Heck, they're cheap to buy so you have nothing to lose by taking one. Of course, the best way to find out it by a confirmation from your doctor after a blood test.

you're pregnant,HPT do no longer submit fake positives till that's a defective attempt. once you're uncertain, take yet another one,of a diverse sort,in case you get a destructive nonetheless,i does not count type it as one bc tests have a diverse point of HCG hormone they p.c.. up. some it takes greater to ensue, some it takes much less. call your dr,make an appointment. the only way a house being pregnant attempt (HPT) strategies up a pretend beneficial is while you're on a fertility drug that has the being pregnant hormone in it or in case you p.c.. up a favorable and then initiate, that's called as a "chemical being pregnant" that's the place the egg is fertilized, and only does not implant.

First to answer your question it might show now, but it might now, it's a little early. Secondly, you would not have to cancel your vacation even if you are. I know airlines discourage women in late stages from flying due to concerns about going into labor on the plane, but at 3 weeks, you'd be fine. I concieved on vacation and came home on a plane at about 5 days, and my son was just fine.

You can take an HPT such as Answer or first Response 4-5 days before your period is due. Why would you cancel your vacation if you are pregnant? You can still fly, you just cant drink.
good luck.

Umm, your question is moot - you can fly if you are pregnant. Only women who are pretty far along (like 8 months pregnant) shouldn't fly, and those whose pregnancy is high risk.

If you just conceived last week, how can you be 3 weeks pregnant? Were you also pregnant before you conceived?

EPT is the best one (digitel or not) for or the early test in the pink box it can tell you before your missed period about a week before your missed period thats the only thing i can think or go to your doctor they use the same pregnancy tests there.
