Yes, it's perfectly normal. It shows that they care enough about you to be interested in you as a person. A lot of men won't take the time to do that and instead would ridicule you for it. If you have a man who's interested in you enough to ask these questions then you're lucky.

Be glad you have a man in your life who is interested in all aspects of your life. Most men aren't.
Most men only care about three things: food, sex and sports. Women only come into play when it concerns two of those things.
While you don't have to get graphic with your descriptions, explain how your period works, what you use, what happens to you, etc., so he'll be prepared for the next one. Good luck.

yeah its normal, do you ever wonder about his parts and how things work, i ask my boyfriend all the time... as a female we never will get to feel and understand what men do.
They are the same they don't know what it feels like to carry a baby or have a period.
I think its good that he is curious because he will understand more and be able to cater to you sexually and in life (like the fact that tampons are not poison and they are something we need to carry with us)
overall he is curious let him be.

It seems a little odd, but if the guy really wants to understand what you are going through, that's fine. As long as he understands it, and doesn't judge it. I prefer to keep those types of things to myself, though. My husband understands that.

I dunno, depends on what he's asking. My husband pretty much knows when my periods are, and I gave him a tour of the female hygene product aisle when he inquired what the difference was between the various "feminine products". I mean, we don't get into the gory details or anything.
