First of all, the thing that matters most is that you turn it in complete, and do the best job you can to proofread it with the help of a parent or other teacher. [The only way this test can mess you up is if you don't finish and fail the class, or you are applying to a very competitive private high school that cares if you made an A+ in 8th grade English. If not, just finish it and do the best you can. Be proud that you got it done and did your best.]

Your summary is not bad so far. Make an outline. Summarize each chapter in 3-5 sentences. Write on separate notecards if that helps you. Then put it all together in order. If you are not sure of your words, use simple phrases. Do not try to be too fancy; just try to get it done. Once you are done you can ask friends or family to help you check it over for spelling, punctuation and grammar. (Check for all these errors together, then check again for each type of error separately. If you make changes, reprint the whole thing and go over the whole thing again). But you have to finish it first. So focus on getting the content down, then work on the presentation.

If you feel overwhelmed, this is a trick that I use on myself. First, when I am organizing my notes, I tell myself "This is the easy part, just making notes. No big deal. The hard part is putting them together." Then, when it comes time to putting the notes together, I tell myself, "I already did all the research. This is the easy part, to put together what I already selected." Then when it comes to editing, I tell myself "This is the last part. Just correcting what I already wrote. I already did the hard part which was writing it."

I hope that helps you!

if you do go to google, dont go to the images. in the regular search, type "stock photos" . This will bring you to a few stock photo sites. they are all copyright free, and most of them you can get the pictures for free. you might also try looking up 1950's clip art. hope this helps.
