I started b/c pills sept. 17 I was having my period every 2 wks the last time a had one was the end of Sept into Oct it lasted 14 days. I have not started since then could it be the pills or should I be worried that I may be preg. or something else? My boobs were sore until last week when I should have had my period.

There is something weird going on here. Although it is possible that the pills prevented your period since your body is still adjusting to them (mine was really wacky for the first few months of BC), it is unlikely. The only reason a complete skip should happen is if you didn't take the week off between pill packs. You may want to take a pregnancy test, and, regardless of the results, you should talk to a gyno about this. You may need to switch brands if your body is reacting strangely.
Good luck!

The object of B/C pills is they fool your system into thinking that you are pregnant. That will stop or change the regularity of your period because it stops your ovulation. B/C pills are usually prescription medication. Before prescribing them, your doctor should have explained how they worked, & their side effects. The last thing you want from a G/P is a guy who is nothing more than a pill dispenser. If your Doctor failed to explain what you were getting into with B/C pills then maybe you need to find a better Doc.

Yes!
Birth control pills can cause awkward periods, but if you are having soreness, definitely consider why!
If your man has been doing something to cause them to be sore then I wouldn't worry! Are you still taking the pills? I would think it kind of silly to think your pregnant then!
Birth control pills just like the shot have different reactions for each person. Sometimes it causes periods to completely stop, and for others periods to become shorter but more frequent. If you are considerably concerned I would wait a while before you jump to conclusions, if symptoms persist, then I would take a pregnancy test!

it can be the pills, it took me about 6 months to find the right pill for me, the first pill i took gave me headaches, the second one made me bleed every two weeks, the third one was not making me bleed and finally the forth one worked and it worked for 6.5 years, so yes it could be your body adjusing, remember you are putting lots of hormones in your body, give it sometime before it gets used to it, for now, take your pills as directed. And as of being pregnant, they tell you to take the pill for a week before having sex, did you? if you did you should be fine if you didn't then I feel like you might want to take a test.

I had htis problem and I switched birth control and it helped. The amount of horomones int eh birth control you are currently taking might not be working with your body the way it should.
On the other hand, birth control is only 96 percet effective; and that's only if you take it at the exact same time every day.
You sould definitely go see your gyno ASAP to discuss both of those possibilities.
