It's not just your mp3 player - the cables under my computer desk look like I've been knitting with them.
Look on it as a theological exercise. One of the proofs of the existence of God is that matter, left to its own devices, collapses into chaos. For some reason, God always seems to pick on electric cables to prove he exists.

Yes, when I call to my M.P.3. and ask it to come out, it slaps me and asks why I used the periods in its name and am calling it by the name of the media it plays rather than by what it is actually called. Then it goes back inside and waits for me to ask it correctly: "Come out mp3 player, come out." Then it comes out and the leads are not tangled.
