Half of 8 is 4, so if you divid 8 in half you get 4. But if you divid 8 by a half then you get 16.

If you divide 8 in half it must be 4.
However, if you divide 8 by half then you get 16.
8/(1/2) = 8(2) = 16

if you divide 8 by half, it would be 8/ 0.5, or preferably 1/2.
you would just end up multiplying 8 by the reciprocal of a half, which is 2.
Therefore, the answer would be 16!

If you draw the number eight, and "cut it in half" with a straight line... horizontally, you'd get two zeros. If you made the line vertically (up & down), you'd get a 3 and a backwards 3.
