Would you let him get away with it or press charges? I was 16 white, and he was 31, and black. I fought for a long time before he out strenghthed me. I dont want to go to the police, but every one around me says to.

Yes, you need to report it. If not for you, but for other women who he will do this to in the future. You should follow your gut and go to the police. They have special people who can help you and take your statement. Absolutely....call someone, right now. His behavior is not acceptable, and it was not your fault. He is an adult and should have behaved appropriately. Please, please call the police right now. You need to do the right thing for other women.

Go to the police, doll. He doesn't deserve to get away with this because if he does he could do the same thing to another girl. If anything what he does deserve is a dance in a jail cell with a guy named Bubba. Also while you're at it. Find some help for you because this is a serious issue and you can't over come it unless you talk it out with someone. Talking is the greatest therapy.

i personally would go to the police becasue if yiu just let him go then who knows what kind of other stuff he's getting away with. What u should've done was told the police right after the incident occurred so that you would have hard eveidence that he really raped you but now if you do it will be really hard since hes older then you and it will be your word against his. If you really want to and you feel justice has to be served then you have every right to press charges even later on after it happened!!! Im really sorry to hear what happened and good luck with whatver choice u make

You MUST go to the police. No matter how long ago. You must not let him get away with it. I think that mentioning the race should not be something that you should focus on thought. He could have been white, hispanic or whatever, the point is that he forced himself on you. You should also seek the help of a counselor or health professional to help you deal with physical/emotional problems that you might have as a result of this terrible experience.

by going to the police - yo are saving someone else from the same fate as you. Do yourself the favor and deal with it-at least call the rapecrisis hotline- It is anonymous, helpful and very important to getting over this. Be strong! and GOOD LUCK

Oh My God!!! Please go tell someone, if there is anyway of catching this person and bringing them to justice you need to do it. Not just for your own piece of mind to help prevent him doing this to anyone else.
You need to do something about this, why wouldn't you. What the heck do you have to lose?
