More than likely, for we don't like to stare at things we find repulsive and we don't tend to hang around things we don't like. If you are interested you might want to speak his language: stare back and smile and hang out with him if you can. He will likely make a move. If you are not interested definitely do not smile back at him. Come up with something to do when he approaches. Most boys will get the hint you are not interested. Don't send mix messages though.

well... he probably has a thing for you...I mean... are the spots your hanging out at out of his way??? or does he turn his head when you spot him looking at you??? or perhaps he awkwardly comments you like "hey... I like your socks."???
'casue all of these pretty much spell "I LIKE YOU"
